I poured hours of hard work into my preaentarion for the meeting. I was told I had 30 minutes, but we started late and I only had fifteen. I fumbled quickly through my PowerPoint and was unable to fully develop my initiative. The preoccupied and distracted look of my colleagues signaled the flat reception of my ideas. Rather than the enthusiam and perhaps even applause, I had hoped for, they werw all checking their phones and shuffling their papers. I ledt the meeting dejected and feeling I had toiled in vain.
Yet, deep down, I do believe the Lord appreciates my efforts. They are not wasted. Somehow, God is using this experience for a greater good. I gained knowledge and pracriced many new skulls in my preparation. I gave my bes! I faced disappointment, yet hope against hope. I may have planted some seeds for future germination. God uses everyrhing in his unfolding plan. I trust and persevere.
